woooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo, baby it's CoLd outside!!! we just had a full 24 hours of snow fall & there is close to 2 FEET of snow on the ground now!! it's been named "the blizzard of 2009" and rightly so because i don't know if i have ever, ever, EVER seen so much of the fluffy white stuff fall at one time!! it was just GoRgeOus & i'm sure i'll spend some time tomorrow taking pictures of how much accumulated!! but, i just had to share a "moment" i had out on the deck last night (only after 4 hours of snowfall . . . SO much more fell overnight and today!) while the snow was falling. such peace . . . beautiful, sparkly white snow falling against a dark night sky. it was one of the most beautiful things i'd ever seen. thank you, Heavenly Father for these reminders of simple pleasures that can make even big kids' hearts swell with joy. here's to a white christmas . . . (and, yes, i AM trying to catch snowflakes on my tongue like a little kid!)
